Terms of Service
Last updated: March 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using EatCheap ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
EatCheap provides a food delivery discount service that helps users obtain reduced pricing on DoorDash orders. We act as an intermediary to apply available discounts and promotional pricing to your orders.
3. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account via Google or Discord OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
4. Order Processing
When you submit an order through EatCheap, you authorize us to place the corresponding order on DoorDash on your behalf. Delivery times, availability, and restaurant operations are subject to DoorDash's own terms and are outside our direct control.
5. Pricing and Payments
Discounted prices displayed are estimates and may vary slightly based on real-time availability. Final pricing is confirmed before your order is processed. You agree to pay the confirmed discounted price for your order.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund eligibility is subject to our Refund Policy. Orders may be cancelled before they enter processing status. Once processing has begun, cancellations may not be possible and refund eligibility will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: abuse or exploit the Service for unauthorized commercial purposes; attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures; submit false or misleading information; use automated systems to access the Service without permission; or engage in any activity that disrupts the Service.
8. Data Retention and Privacy
We are committed to minimizing the data we store. Your delivery address is never stored on our servers — it exists only in the DoorDash group order link and is never extracted or logged by EatCheap. Group order links are automatically and permanently deleted from our database 24 hours after your order is placed. If you open a support ticket related to an order, the link is retained for up to 14 days to assist with resolution; once the ticket is resolved, the link is deleted within 3 days. We only retain your email address and OAuth token for account functionality. We never store payment card details — all payments are processed through third-party providers (Stripe and PayPal).
9. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and technology comprising the Service are owned by EatCheap. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
EatCheap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order in question.
11. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or on-site notification.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration.
13. Contact
