EatCheap helps you spend less on DoorDash. You pick what you want on doordash.com, send us the group order link, and we place it at a steep discount. The food and delivery experience are identical — only the price changes.
Go to doordash.com and add items to your cart with a subtotal between $20-$22.50. Instead of checking out, create a group order link and paste it on our order page. We process the order and get you the best possible discount — up to 27.5% off. The food is delivered through DoorDash as normal.
It's simple — three steps: 1) Open your cart on doordash.com and tap "Group Order" (or "Start Group Order"). 2) When it asks you to invite people, skip that — just look for the share or copy link option. 3) Copy the link and paste it on our order page. You don't need to actually invite anyone to the group. The link just lets us see your cart and place the order for you.
Yes. EatCheap is an independent service with no affiliation to DoorDash. We never log into or access your DoorDash account — you just share a group order link, which is a built-in DoorDash feature. There is no risk to your account.
Our discount sweet spot is a subtotal of $20-$22.50. You can go higher, but only the first $22.5 of your subtotal receives the discount — anything above that is charged at the normal price. For example, a $22.5 cart at 50% off would cost you around $11.25. If your cart is $27.5, the first $22.5 is discounted and the remaining $5 is at full price, so you'd pay around $16.25. We recommend keeping your subtotal in the $20-$22.50 range for the best deal. The minimum subtotal is $20.
We serve all areas in the United States where DoorDash delivers. Canada and other international regions are not currently supported.
Delivery times are the same as a regular DoorDash order — typically 25-45 minutes depending on the restaurant and your location. All delivery logistics are handled entirely by DoorDash, so there is no extra delay on our end.
We aim to respond to all orders and support inquiries within 20 minutes. Most orders are processed much faster than that. Our operating hours are 12 PM to 12 AM EST.
Yes, you need an active DoorDash account to build your cart and create a group order link. You do NOT place the order yourself on DoorDash — just make the cart, create the group link, and send it to us. We handle the checkout.
You can cancel within 2 minutes of placing your order with us. After that window, cancellation may not be possible since the order will already be processing. If you cancel within the window, there may be a small cancellation fee of $2-$7.50.
No, orders cannot be modified once placed. If you need to change something, you would need to cancel within the 2-minute window and place a new order. We recommend double-checking your cart before submitting.
Once your order is placed, you'll receive a tracking link so you can follow the delivery in real time. If the restaurant cancels your order for any reason, you get a full refund with no questions asked. For issues like wrong items or missing items that happen on DoorDash's side, we offer a partial refund since delivery logistics are outside our control. You can also contact DoorDash directly for additional help.
Absolutely. Personal data like your name and address is never stored — we only keep track of your email and OAuth token. We never see or store your card details — all payments are processed securely through trusted third-party providers like PayPal and Stripe. Like any merchant, our Stripe dashboard shows only the last 4 digits of your card and your billing zip code — this is standard for all Stripe merchants and not unique to us. We never store passwords or request sensitive permissions from your account.
OAuth sign-in (Google, Discord) is actually the safest way to create an account. Here's why: we never see or store your password. When you click "Sign in with Google," you authenticate directly with Google's servers — all we receive is your name, email, and profile picture. We don't get access to your emails, drive, or anything else. It's safer than creating yet another password that could be leaked in a data breach.
No. When you sign in with Google, the only information shared with us is your public profile — your name, email address, and profile photo. We do not request any additional permissions. We cannot read your emails, access your files, or do anything else with your Google account. You can verify this in your Google account security settings at any time.
All payments are handled through trusted third-party processors like PayPal and Stripe. We never see your card number, CVV, or billing details. The payment providers handle everything securely on their end, and we only receive a confirmation that your payment went through.
No subscription, no membership fees, no hidden charges. You just pay for each order individually. Use EatCheap whenever you want — once a month or every day.
We operate from 12 PM to 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Orders placed outside of these hours will be processed when we're back online.
